Mrs. McClure's Music Room
My name is Tammy McClure. I am the music teacher at Norris Elementary School. I have taught at NES my entire career of 25 years. I love seeing my many former students!
I am a product of McDuffie County schools. I attended Dearing Elementary, Norris Middle School, and Thomson High School. I am an Augusta College graduate with a Bachelor in Music Education.
I have been married for 28 years and have two children. My oldest son is an Augusta University graduate with a degree in accounting. My youngest son is currently enrolled at Augusta Tech and plans to follow in the family business. They are are also products of McDuffie County schools.
I love my job! I enjoy helping my students develop a love and appreciation for music by giving them opportunities to sing, dance, perform and learn all about music.
My room number is 503; however, this year I will be coming to your classroom during your music time. We will not be singing in the classroom this year but I will be providing online singing experiences for you on my website.
We will also not be playing instruments. I will have links to virtual instruments that we will utilize on your chrome book. These will also be available on my website for you to use at home. This year will be very different, but I am going to do my best to make it a fun learning experience.
The number one rule for participating during music time is to raise your hand if you want to speak. You will also be following the RAMS expectations.
R – respect others
A – act appropriately
M – make safe choices
S – show responsibility
I can’t wait to see you! Welcome back to our rising 5th graders and I look forward to meeting all of our new rising fourth graders.
Get ready to rock with Mrs. McClure!!
