My name is Alexis Harris. I was born and raised in Thomson, GA. I graduated from Thomson High School in 2016. I am a mother of a beautiful daughter named Aloni. I am the oldest of 8 siblings. In May 2023, I graduated from The Unsinkable Albany State University with Master of Public Administration. I enjoy cooking, shopping, and spending time with family.

 In our classroom we use the school-wide RAMS expectations. We expect students to Respect everyone, Act with appropriate attitude, make safe choices, and Show responsibility. This year we are continuing to use the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports at Norris Elementary. 

I am honored to be part of this excellent team at Norris Elementary. They have welcomed me with open arms and gratitude. This is my first-year teaching. I am a Special Education 4th grade reading and math teacher. I believe that each student is capable of growing, learning, understanding, and engaging in the lessons that are taught. I am looking forward to this school year and making sure it is fantastic and enjoyable! Thank you, parents, for trusting me and giving me the opportunity to educate your children.
