Welcome to my website and R.L. Norris Elementary School!

I'm so excited to be working with you and your child this 2025-2026 school year! A little about me...

I am a native of McDuffie County and graduate of Thomson High School. Also, my husband, and 3 children graduated from THS as well. GO DOGS!  In addition to being a proud mother, I am also a proud grandmother. I attended Augusta State University and graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I also graduated from Troy State University with a Master’s Degree in Education Leadership. Being a primary educator is a never-ending learning process. I learn right along with my students. My philosophy for teaching is to always provide a nurturing learning environment for all students. I love to read, cook, listen to music, and spend time with my family.
