A Little Bit About Me

Thank you for visiting my web page.  I would like to share a few things about me, so that you will know that we are more alike, than different.  This is my 16th year of teaching.  I decided to go to college in my late 40's, as it was my lifelong dream to become a teacher. At the age of 52, I graduated from Augusta State University with honors.  My GPA was 3.97.  I am extremely proud of myself!
After graduating, my first interview was at RL Norris Elementary School--Immediately, I knew it was exactly where I was meant to be.
In my 15 years of teaching, I have taught all subjects, but Math is my favorite.  For the 2024-25 school year, I am co-teaching math with Mrs. Logue and I also have one resource class. Co-teaching classes are designed to have 2 certified teachers, and sometimes a paraprofessional. All adults on this team believe every student can be successful, both academically and in their relationships with their peers and all adults.

If there is anything I can do to help you or your child, please feel free to contact me.
