Volunteer Program

Parents, businesses, and members of the community can become integral parts of student achievement at NES through the volunteer/mentorship programs – providing academic assistance, curriculum enrichment, assistance with special populations, non-academic support, and numerous other services.  These may include working as a one-on-one tutor or reading buddy; sharing your talents and knowledge of drama, arts and crafts, or music; or assisting in a campus beautification project or other special event.  The philosophy of the Partners in Education Program is to enrich the educational opportunities for students while contributing directly to the quality of life in our community for coming generations.

A background check and mandatory child abuse reporter training is required for all volunteers and vendors.  For more information about becoming a trained parent volunteer, please contact the main office at 706-986-4400.
